Hand made by Pachacuti, the UK's only fair trade Panama hat specialist, these genuine Panamas are a fine grade weave, made to roll, as all good Panamas should be!
Pachacuti supports 400 women weavers across two co-operatives, and, unusually, the women undertake the entire process, from weaving to finishing, and therefore receive a far higher price for their hats. Profits are then used for medical expenses, training, community development, pensions for elderly weavers and a grocery store.
